Rho-estimation: from theory to practice

Project leader: Yannick BARAUD

Project partners: J. A. Dieudonné Laboratory and IPMC*

This project has a double objective. The first goal is to determine efficient numerical methods for the implementation of new estimators (rho-estimators) whose optimality and robustness properties have been theoretically established. Then, the procedure will be applied to medical and/or biological data having obvious problems with model robustness. If successful, we hope to popularize the method among both statisticians and especially researchers who are not statisticians.

Project start and end dates: April 2018 – March 2020
