In September, the MSI will organize a basic course for non-computer science PhD students on how to use an HPC cluster

At the beginning of the next academic year, the MSI will help you use a computing platform for the first time.

Maeva Antoine, MSI engineer and administrator of the Azzurra computing center, is in charge of the course "Introduction to the use of an HPC cluster", which will be held on September 1, 2021. Topics covered: connection (VPN and SSH), file transfer (FTP), essential Linux commands, sending and tracking jobs with the Slurm resource manager.

Designed for a public composed of non-computer science PhD students, this course can count for the mandatory PhD coursework. The training program is available in the ADUM catalog. The course will be taught in French and/or English, depending on the audience.
